American Men Looking for A Japanese Bride
I’m seeing a trend in Japan for many decades. A fad of American men traveling to Japan and signing with dating companies to find a Japanese bride. As Western society changes and Western ladies become increasingly liberated and increasingly like guys, traditional American guys are looking to Japan to locate a more conventional spouse. Japanese ladies are usually pretty, slim, take extremely good care of themselves and also take extremely good care of their spouses. They cook, they clean, they take care of the children and they make their man feel as if he is a god. It’s no surprise American men want a Japanese bride.
For the women, the men are seen as a good match. American guys, even less affluent ones, typically have more cash than Japanese fellows. Western blokes offer a Japanese lady an opportunity to leave Japan and visit another country. European blokes are seen by some Japanese women as being kinder than Japanese guys and Japanese men have a certain notoriety for not remaining faithful. Lots of Japanese guys also do not remain monogamous after marriage, and will still have a girlfriend even though they have a wife and children at home. So for some Japanese women, a Western bloke offers things a Japanese guy does not.
As you may envision, there are still some problems in wedding a Japanese bride. Language dissimilarities, cultural variations and visa concerns come instantly to my mind when considering some of the problems that Japanese-Western couples may encounter. Overall though a Japanese bride might be a wonderful idea for many blokes that have become disappointed with American women. If you start the marriage with some forethought and with caution you have a great chance of having a successful marriage.
To the blokes who come to Japan looking for marriage and a Japanese bride, I say “Good luck”. It can happen for you, especially in this day and age of web dating and personals. To the Japanese ladies I say Get to know this bloke slowly. In any culture, there are good and evil. Watch out for danger signs, and believe in your instincts. If you have questions, they are there for a reason. Cash isn’t everything.
